Communications Committee
Objective: To revitalize outreach to both current and prospective STAR members and to develop dynamic social media and web content that conveys professionalism, solidarity, acceptance, and inclusivity in
our industry.
Professional Outreach Committee
Objective: To identify key industry partners from all stakeholder groups and form strategic alliances to work together to promote our industry as a whole and grow together into the future.
Membership Committee
Objective: To promote STAR membership to professionals of all methods of record capture, to foster relationships with schools to encourage membership opportunities for students, and to increase STAR’s member base exponentially.
Education Committee
Objective: To develop a library of valuable educational tools and resources for professionals of all capture methods to promote and encourage constant learning and consistent professional development.
Technology Committee
Objective: To lead the industry in the development and implementation of the newest and most innovative speech-to-text technology and provide STAR members with relevant content and learning opportunities centered around technology.
