GUEST – Janet Harris
Bio: Janet Harris, CER, CET, CDVS, Stenograph, Vice President Enterprise Sales.
Janet has extensive experience in court reporting, transcription and videography. In 2020 Janet joined Stenograph and is working with sales, marketing and product managers on new products for the digital reporting and transcription market.
Since 1990, she has been active in trade associations and legislative efforts to allow increased use of digital recording methods in courts, hearing rooms, depositions and private markets.
She is a co-founder of AAERT and currently serves as President, and certified as a CER, CET by AAERT and a CDVS by the American Guild of Court Videographers, and obtained her bachelor in computer science from Smith College in 2013.
Throughout her 30+ year career as an entrepreneur and working with national reporting and transcription agencies, she has worked closely with court administration, federal and state government agencies and law firms to provide reporting and transcription services nationwide.
